LA Brewery's Latest Kombucha Is A Healthier Way To 'Rosé All Day'

L.A. Brewery is a British-based kombucha maker whose goal was to create a healthy alternative to alcohol that also tasted great. Founded by Louise Avery, L.A. Brewery uses a distinct blend of teas and other ingredients to usher in a refreshing, complex, and naturally effervescent live drink.

Now, L.A. Brewery’s latest addition to their kombucha line is poised to replace summer rosés with a sparkling variation that also looks the part.

The new Sparkling English Rosé, realized with branding and design help from studio Here Design, is elegantly bottled, drawing from classic champagne presentations, including an elongated neck topped with a cork caged by a muselet. The label is also exquisitely executed with a minimal design dominated by circular patterns in the background, reminiscent of ripples caused by bubbles. Classic serif typography dominates the space, mixed with a handwriting-inspired type used to convey a personal touch while mint blue accents stand out against the kombucha’s natural golden hue.

“Being able to create this beautiful, life-enriching variant and the wider LA Brewery brand with Louise is a perfect example of our studio philosophy—to create beautiful and useful things with a clear purpose; in this case, reinventing temperance,” says Here Design’s strategy partner Tess Wicksteed via a press release.

With all the increased drinking going down at home during the coronavirus lockdown, a healthy and tasty alternative to sparkling wine might be a refreshing and restorative respite from all those boozy “quarantinis.”
