You'll Be Able To Visit Flavortown Soon Enough, So Get Ready With A Guy Fieri Cooler

Not that there’s much of a reason to consider buying an Igloo Playmate cooler at this particularly painful moment in time, but consider this - the all-clear to outside and be among your fellow man and woman will come soon enough, and when it does, it’ll be nice to have a tried-and-true, American-made, reusable cooler at the ready.
Even if we clock in at the house now, an Igloo Playmate will keep your quarantine drinks and snacks cool right by your desk. The brand will also donate 100% of the profit from sales on its website to the CDC’s relief fund, supporting health care workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic, but one special-edition supporting restaurant workers currently out of work due to COVID-19 social distancing measures.
And if that weren’t reason enough, it’s a collaboration with the mayor of Flavortown and celebrity chef Guy Fieri. The limited-edition 7 QT personal cooler features a black body and top featuring a Hollywood styled “Flavortown” sign. Unlike the rest of the Igloo line, all the profits from this collaboration go towards the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund, which provides $500 grants to qualified restaurant employees currently struggling to make ends meet. Over the next three months, estimates say that five to seven million US restaurant jobs could get eliminated, affecting everyone from management, back-of-house kitchen staff, and front-of-house employees such as servers and bartenders.
Fieri is no stranger to helping those in need in times of a crisis, firing up the grill and doling out the Donkey Sauce to feed firefighters and folks displaced by the 2018 California wildfires, for example. He joins legions of other celebrity chefs, save one, in helping those most affected by the COVID-19 crisis, including Jose Andres, who’s been cooking for hospital workers and people quarantined aboard cruise ships, as well as donating and delivering personal protection equipment (PPE). Other chefs are offering the cooking-impaired lessons online.
The Flavortown Igloo cooler is now available for pre-order at igloocoolers.com.
