Coronavirus Cabin Fever Got You Down? Neenah Has a Contest For That.

Published

Likely, you’re really starting to feel the cabin fever.

But that’s OK! You’re doing great. No one said working from home and forced isolation would be easy, especially when you might have kids interrupting your morning check-in Zoom meeting with reckless abandon.

Seriously, you’re doing great.

But if you’re looking to break free from your sourdough starter experiment that has gone seriously awry, Neenah Paper has a contest for you. Since you likely didn’t get outside for Earth Day, they’ve created the Design Your Nature Contest. With sustainability top of mind, the paper purveyors would like entrants to create an upcycled floral creation. Designers are free to use whatever medium they have on hand, whether it’s paper, fabric, or even the toilet paper tubes you’re hoarding. Bottom line, get creative.

The first prize-winning creation will receive a $1,000 cash prize, while two runner-ups will each get $250.

So, here’s the lowdown on what you need to know:

  • Like Neenah’s post announcing the contest on their Instagram.
  • Follow @NeenahPaper.
  • Post your design, and be sure to tag it with #DesignYourNature.
  • You can submit your entry starting today until May 8th.
  • Neenah will announce the winning entrants on May 15th

Your submission will get judged on creativity, execution, and quality by Neenah Creative Director Dallas Franklin and Design Army co-founder and CCO Pum Lefebure. So get to creating, designer person! Heck, get the kids involved as part of a homeschooling project. It’s not like they’re going to see the inside of a classroom again this year.
