Maude Releases Valentine's Day Kits With Intimate Essentials

According to a recent survey, about 80% of men and women had planned to have "relations" on Valentine’s Day last year, probably after a "nice dinner" or a "movie," which over 90% of respondents said was also on the agenda. It comes as little surprise then that more Americans anticipate Valentine’s Day than Christmas season.

Maude, a modern and inclusive sexual wellness brand, wants to make the horizontal tango a little extra special this holiday with two selections tailored for the bedroom festivities—the nightcap and love kits.

The nightcap kit, new this year, is packaged in a small tin box and includes ingredients for two old fashioned cocktails, a mixing spoon, two easy-open ultra-thin rise condoms, and a vial of their shine lubricant. The kit, developed with kitchenware designer W&P and cocktail experts at Punch, has everything needed to invite that someone special over for a nightcap and some yada, yada, yada, minus the whiskey and ice. The included condoms come packaged in Maude’s easy-open buttercup packages because having to stop to turn on a light to figure out which way is up on a prophylactic can be a mood-killer.

The love kit makes its return this year and includes Maude’s USB-charged personal massager, an 8oz bottle of their shine lubricant, and a burn no. 1 massage candle, which you can either burn for the ambiance or apply the partially melted wax to the skin if you’re channeling your inner Madonna this Valentine’s Day.

Both kits are available now for purchase from Maude’s website, and it beats the half-wilted rose and the dog-eared card you picked up at 7-Eleven last year because you forgot it was Valentine’s Day.
