Movember is an annual campaign aimed at raising funds and awareness around menâs health issues, such as prostate and testicular cancer, as well as male suicide. Participants grow mustaches (the âmoâ in Movember, naturally) and raise money in November, rocking a Selleck, Mercury, and, hell, even a Rollie Fingers. Those already sporting sweet âstaches start by taking a razor to the face at the start of the campaign, which can be a jarring new look when facial hair is part of oneâs longstanding appearance.
Of course, that didnât stop KFC France from debuting a baby-faced Colonel for this yearâs Movember. The new look, designed by agency Sid Lee Paris, is not a permanent change, just a temporary makeover done to heighten awareness of Movember. The Kentucky Colonelâs signature van dyke was back the next day.
