Herman-Scheer re-designs Gainful into a sophisticated and premium brand of protein products.


We designed the identity to feel premium, we found that many people spend hundreds of dollars on their fitness lifestyles between their gyms, equipment, even their clothing, shoes and accessories but no one created a protein brand that matched that same level of sophistication and premium feel that every other component to their fitness journeys matched.

Thus, our rebrand has a nice use of neutral colors, sophisticated sans serif(s) and bring appetite appeal without hitting people over the head.Personalization was a huge component of their brand so we developed the icon system to visualize all of the different components that make each blend (& person) unique.

Gainful came to us with an initial identity system that they weren’t super proud of, didn’t evoke the quality of their product and was missing the mark in terms of differentiating the brand amongst the really competitive market.
