Oddly Juice Packaging: Making Beauty From Ugly Produce
by Shawn Binder on 10/14/2020 | 2 Minute Read
Ugly veggies make for gorgeous designs, according to Oddly. The rich, vivid green is super eye-catching against the sunset yellow, as are the rest of the color combinations that make up each flavor variant. The orange shapes are intriguing, and will stay in the minds of consumers long after they've had their last sip of juice
Making a delicious product out of produce that is perceived as "ugly" is a beautiful act of sustainability, and the design for Oddly is absolutely just as beautiful.
The owner of Oddly uses veggie that are too ugly for their products. We wanted to use the "ugly shape" of the vegetables since it conveys organic, less mechanical feelings. Also using the typography that are imperfectly stacked, just like the vegetables and fruits that are in the delivery box.
