Hello Again Brings Menopausal Relief With CBD & THC

Cannabis has a long history when it comes to alleviating women’s issues like PMS and menopause-it was even recommended for those occurrences in the 1899 edition of the Merck Manual, the best-selling physician and pharmacist reference book.

With attitudes against marijuana consumption softening, especially around medicinal use, many are now rediscovering such treatments and finding relief. While researchers are starting to investigate what, so far, has been anecdotal stoner wisdom of cannabis’ ability to ease the discomfort associated with menopause, enterprising individuals are not waiting until the science is in and are tailoring cannabis preparation for relief of climacteric manifestations.

Hello Again is one such company founded by two women-Carrie Mapes and Patty Pappas-to produce cannabis products designed to help those suffering from menopausal or perimenopausal symptoms such as foggy head, hot flashes, and sleeplessness. Neither of the founders had a particularly extensive history with marijuana, but after they tried cannabis in the wake of traditional medicine that was ineffective or carried uncomfortable risk like breast cancer, they were drawn to CBD and THC's medicinal perks that could relieve those nagging symptoms.

Unlike traditional delivery methods, Hello Again is prepared as a vaginal suppository-or “vagitory” as they call it-which is a discrete, direct, and effective way to deliver consistent and non-psychoactive relief.

The packaging is subdued, with the nighttime formulation in a soft blue and white, and the reverse for the all-day product. The typography is a contemporary treatment in a retro-groovy aesthetic, and the boxes carry little else in the way of embellishments, save some product description and regulatory requirements.

Hello Again will launch at The Pottery as well as other dispensaries in the Los Angeles area this month.
