Luxe Cannabis Brand Gen!us Wants To Enlighten You

Cannabis has long been thought to spark creativity and enhance the enjoyment of art. As the market for legal, recreational cannabis broadens and competition grows, so does the diversity of weed consumers. For many, marijuana opens the mind and creates a heightened sense of consciousness, described by some as a lighting a path towards enlightenment.

It’s that cerebral, spiritual effect of cannabis that inspires luxe cannabis brand Gen!us's visual identity. You'll find bright colors, high contrasts, and shapes throughout the brand's product designs, packaging, and website.

The line of cannabis products includes loose flower, pre-rolls, vape pens, and cartridges featuring designs both playful and approachable. The logo is a single, rounded “g,” incorporating a whimsical wisp of smoke coming off the letter in cheerful colors or a background of cannabis leaves.

The strains in the Gen!us line reflect the pursuit of that next level of consciousness, such as Gelato, which provides a relaxing body high that is both floaty and lucid, Orange Tree, a lighter potency flower that uplifts mood and increases creativity, or Green Crack, a daytime strain that’s known for providing alertness.

Gen!us also enlisted the help of talented and emerging photographers Daniel Forero, Justin Jerrod, and Maggie West to communicate their vision and identity further. 

These artists manipulate composition, color, and smoke to cast a new light on an ancient herb and connect the contemporary cannabis smoker to another plane, one that, at least through the Gen!us prism, kind of looks like a David Lynch movie.
