When it comes to picking a fragrance, you'd be lying if you said the design and shape of the bottle it arrived in didn't influence your decision a little. Between the gorgeous, intricate designs and timeless looks that last a lifetime, why wouldn't you?

Now, world-renowned luxury cosmetic and beauty company Lancôme is turning heads and piquing interest as the release of their latest fragrance Idôle is housed in what's deemed the slimmest bottle in the world.

Designed by industrial designer and architect Chafik Gasmi, this beautiful pink bottle measuring at 15 mm or 1.5 cm wide is said to pay homage to the industry's technical advances and innovations.

The fragrance itself, formulated by perfumers Shyamala Maisondieu, Adriana Medina and Nadège Le Garlantezec is made up of Isparta Rose Petal Essence from Turkey, Centifolia Rose from France, bergamot, accords of pear and Indian Jasmine Grandiflorum. Together, these scents create a musky yet floral aroma that Lancôme hopes empowers those who wear it.

Françoise Lehmann, global brand president, Lancôme, says
, "We are excited to be able to create a fragrance for a new generation of women questioning the status quo, breaking free from tradition,  and re-defining the meaning of success. Collective and beneficial for all women, this new confidence is inciting them to raise the bar a little higher every time. Idôle is a strategic launch for Lancôme, and we are delighted to present it with Zendaya to the world."

For those who are wary about the amount of perfume they'll receive in the world's slimmest bottle, all is well as Lancôme is offering refillable formats in 25 ml, 50 ml, and 75 ml to make up for it.

Additionally, Idôle will be sold with a perfume fountain titled "La Recharge" for a select amount of time and will officially be released in stores starting August 22nd.
