ARTXTRA is Perrier’s arts initiative that supports contemporary artists, and this latest can design marks the first in a year-long collaboration with DABSMYLA. The vibrant, colorful designs produced by the LA-based couple aren’t anything out of the ordinary when it comes to work they’ve made in the past, and aesthetically, it sits alongside some of the mesmerizing environments and eye-catching paintings they've created.
"For over 150 years, Perrier has built its iconic brand through bold, creative collaborations with some of the world's most dynamic and influential artists and designers," said Perrier senior manager Cathy Gallo in a press release. "We're thrilled to continue this legacy with the reintroduction of our Perrier ARTXTRA program and partnership with extraordinary artist duo DABSMYLA."
Perrier's latest special-edition packaging will debut tomorrow, June 21st, at Beyond The Streets, an NYC exhibition of street art and graffiti, where they will help produce a DABSMYLA installation.
"For us, one of the most exciting things about art is that it can be enjoyed in such unexpected places, so we were inspired to bring our unique style to our limited-edition Perrier packaging design," said Darren and Emmelene Mate(DABSMYLA) in the same press release. "There's always been this fascinating intersection between fine art and product design, and we were so honored to continue this tradition and be the latest in a long line of artists that have collaborated with Perrier."
