Not Just a Patch is Designed to Support Diabetes

by Andrew Gibbs on 11/06/2019 | 1 Minute Read

Pete is the founder of ‘Not Just A Patch’ and lives with type 1 diabetes. He’s been living with it since his 20’s like so many others do. There are many forms of technical CGM devices that remotely read and help control your blood sugar levels for diabetes. These devices aren’t cheap to run, and if you are as active as Pete they don’t last long either. So Pete decided to come up with a solution to his problem, and turned to designer Andy Audsley to help bring his vision to live.

‘Not Just A Patch’ is a new and exciting patch that becomes part of your world, breathing new life into living with diabetes. A patch that can be used for multiple device shapes and sizes. A patch that doesn’t damage or pull your sensor off when changing. A patch that can be interchangeable when it suits you to feel bright and colourful on your terms.

‘Not Just A Patch’ also has a real reason for its name, a patch that gives back to the diabetes community. Not just supporting you and your diabetes but others that need it too. Every patch sold gives back to grass root charities that fight for the right for insulin for all. Causes that can really make a difference to people’s lives.
