Nutella is a tasty hazelnut and chocolate spread that is slathered upon and mixed into all kinds of dishes to enhance their deliciousness, and if you’re not using it every morning, noon, and night, we don’t know what to tell you.
The combo is so popular that creator and manufacturer Ferraro buys a third of the world’s hazelnuts. And now the Italian chocolatier and confectioner is offering a unique experience for their biggest fans—a stay at a Nutella-themed bed and breakfast with special meals prepared by celebrity chefs featuring the signature spread called Hotella Nutella.
Availability is limited; Nutella will choose three winners among video entrants in a contest to stay as guests for a two-day trip in Napa Valley, California, on the weekend of January 10th-12th, 2020. Celebrity chefs will serve up meals featuring the signature spread — “Iron Chef” Geoffrey Zakarien will show winners how easy and tasty breakfast for dinner can be while ‘Brown Sugar Kitchen’ owner Tanya Holland cooks up a classic southern brunch with a Nutella twist. Internet sensation Dancakes will be hosting a pancake art workshop as well, demonstrating and teaching some of the flapjack techniques that have made them viral hits.
To win, entrants must create a 60-second video demonstrating their love of Nutella, and submit their entry by December 8th, 2019 at HotellaNutella.com.
Hotella Nutella is the latest in a series of experiential prizes tailored for brand super fans, in particular, hotel takeovers. Last summer, Mexican fast-food chain Taco Bell invited Bell aficionados to book a stay at a brand-themed Palm Springs, California hotel, The Bell, with amenities such as on-theme room decor and bedding, as well as spa treatments and poolside items. Such experiences set social media abuzz, from the time the contest is opened to when the event takes place when winners share images and posts about the prize in real-time.
