We love the unique curvy shape of this label. Noise 13 created the branding and packaging for Sipsong Spirits, a wonderful gin that comes with a feminine flair while bringing an atypical look to the spirit sector.

"Sipsong Spirits’ founder Tara Jasper is truly a free spirit. After culinary school and world travels, she returned to her roots in Northern California’s Sonoma County with a fire in her belly to craft uniquely distilled small-batch liqueurs.

Sipsong Spirits are imbued with a community focus, a slow-food philosophy, and an intention to live up to its name. Tara’s hope is that when you sip their gin, you will slow down so you can hear your intuition, your inner voice, your 'sipsong'."

"Tara asked Noise 13 to create a brand and label that would visually represent her holistic and strongly feminine identity. Although we had a small budget and short timeline, Tara was incredibly generous with her time and creative input. Our close collaboration allowed us to be inspired by Tara’s fun and vibrant personality, which we incorporated into the brand identity."

"Our first assignment was to create the label for Indira Gin. As the name hints at, this gin is created with warm East Indian botanicals. The tasting notes include: juniper, angelica root, orange, bay, lavender, pink peppercorn, kaffir lime, coriander, hibiscus and cumin. Like the flavor of Sipsong’s gin, the packaging is unexpected. The rounded shape of the label was inspired by Tara’s approach to business. She always surrounds herself by a wide circle of collaborators that she holds close and loves to support in return. The color and illustration style were inspired by the gin’s ingredients and a painting that hangs in Tara’s home.

We were excited to hear that they sold out their first bottling in less than a week and that Indira is now available at the largest gin bar in the US, Whitechapel."
