“Naming and label design for the rose wine of the Agricultural Cooperative of Limnos island. A wine inspired by and created for women. Influenced by mythological times we decided to give the wine a woman’s name, a woman who was a symbol of Limnos island. ‘Queen of the island, lover of an ‘Argonaut’, muse of the poet, daughter of the king, mother of twins’ as written on the label. All unnecessary info was removed leaving room for the bold typography to take the lead as the only mean of communication. The discreet use of pink / gold hot stamping, works in great harmony along with the content of the bottle. The font selection and the die cut finishing of the label contributes to the storytelling of a historical multifaceted personality.”
