In a world where reusable water bottles like S’Well, Sigg and BKR run the sustainable streets, Nestlé Pure Life, the world’s leading bottled water brand, aims to change the game with their new 100% recycled plastic 700-mL water bottles.

“This new bottle made from 100 percent recycled plastic for our namesake brand is the latest way we’re satisfying consumer demand for healthy hydration on-the-go and inspiring consumers to recycle,” states Antonio Sciuto, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Nestlé Waters North America, in a press release.

The launch doesn’t stop there.

Nestlé Pure Life upgraded to a new design. What was once your average water bottle, is now slick and chic with it’s clear and clean design. The “Pure Life Begins Now” banner launched last year has been revamped to show love to Mother Earth by including “Made with 100% recycled plastic” in bold pink lettering below. Note: while the label and cap are recyclable, they are not made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) AKA strong, durable and recyclable materials used for plastic bottles, food jars and more.

Through this initiative, Nestlé continues to be a voice for environmental sustainability in one of the world’s leading environmental issues.

So, to all of our North American readers, keep your eyes peeled for the Earth-friendly bottles as they hit retail shelves this month!
