Dieline Awards formally recognize the absolute best in consumer product packaging design worldwide, bringing awareness to the immense value that lies in well-designed brand packaging.
Brand owners, consumers, marketers, agencies, in-house creatives, students, and enthusiasts around the world turn to Dieline Awards as the benchmark for impeccably-designed packaging of consumer products.
The Dieline Awards competition evolves yearly to stay up-to-date with industry trends. Now in its 9th year, the competition offers more in-depth categories than it ever has to help celebrate innovation and honor excellence in packaging design around the globe.

rts examine each submission with regards to five key elements: Creativity, Marketability, Innovation, Execution, and On-Pack Branding. Debbie Millman, President Emeritus of AIGA serves as chairperson of the jury. A total of 93 winners will be recognized in the 2019 competition.
Whats New?The Dieline Awards competition evolves yearly to remain relevant in an ever-changing industry, and 2019 has brought some of the most exciting changes yet. This year brings new categories, new awards, and new opportunities to win a coveted trophy.This year offers entrants wide array of categories, both new and old. Classic categories like cosmetics, beer, and luxury remain, while 9 others—particularly food and drink packaging—have expanded so designs are judged in a more focused competition.For 2019, we are partnering with A Plastic Planet to launch the world's first Plastic Free Award for sustainable, biobased packaging. Together, we want to recognize the innovation and efforts of designers and brands for creating the solutions of tomorrow, today. A first, second, and third place will be awarded.We are also introducing the Rebrand of the Year Award: One consumer brand will be recognized by the jury for its outstanding overall branding redesign within the past year. One winner will be chosen by the jury, from all rebrand entries, from all categories.With the addition of our new categories, projects may be submitted for consideration to multiple categories within The Dieline Awards competition. By allowing cross submissions, entrants have the opportunity to see how their packaging performs in vastly different environments, with regards to the judging criteria.
