New York Designer Alexandra Stikeleather took a back-to-basics approach when developing the minimalist packaging for her client Haven's Kitchen Sauces. She says the brand is, "all about fresh ingredients and honest cooking. They wanted their packaging to be 'what you see is what you get,' with no tricks, no bells, and whistles. The typography is simple and clean, allowing the exceptionally vibrant colors of the sauces be the palette." While Haven's designs might be utilitarian by nature, the plastic sauce bags evoke a futuristic quality in their functionalism, as if NASA suddenly started supplying its astronauts with gourmet space food. Welcome to your culinary future! It looks delicious.
