Say Hello to Polú Poké

Caterina Bianchini designed the branding and packaging for Polú Poké, a new London-based Poke restaurant. With a variety of Poke restaurants on the rise, this design solution stands out as it features a contemporary and fresh approach while staying away from obvious elements commonly used.
“Polú Poké is a Hawaiian Poke restaurant that has been working away behind the scenes to bring Poke to the common market. Poke is a raw fish salad, with its main component being sectioned/cubed raw fish. As a relatively new food trend that is about to rapidly become a new favourite, Polú Poké needed a new brand that matched their new vision. After working on pop-ups in renowned venues like Selfridge & Co London, and Shoreditch House London, their next natural step was to move into a permanent venue in Soho, London. The restaurant will be serving takeaway Sunshine bowls, as well having sit in options for their foodies.”
"The packaging had to be unique, and modern and reflect the brand's character. Well-paired colour combinations and the development of pattern create packaging that is hard to ignore. The brand experience was enhanced through the development of packaging for Poke Bowls, Wraps, Hot Pots, fridge labels and more. The packaging was developed to be a conversation starter, with a full bleed application and playful striking graphics, this packaging is hard to ignore on your colleague's desk!"
