Sharing Is Caring With These Sandeman Treats

Portugese agency VOLTA designed the packaging for a special line of chocolates and tarts that pair specifically with Sandeman's Porto. The designs feature fun patterns that reinforce the way that these delectable items can be enjoyed together.

"Drinking Porto wine is, first of all, an act of sharing. Sharing moments, memories and flavours that arouse all our senses. This is something that Sandeman always takes in consideration: the tasting of their fine wines should always be shared with other people and other flavours."

"That is the fundamental reason of the 'Sandeman meets…' projects. Food & wine pairing has been around for long, but Sandeman thinks it’s not only the flavours of food & wine that meet, it’s the meeting between people who enjoy these experiences that truly make them meaningful. 

VOLTA designed the packaging for two different 'Sandeman meets' projects: Porto wine with Pastéis de Nata (Portuguese custard tarts) and Porto wine with Chocolate (Porto wine filled chocolates). In both of them, bold colours were used to both reflect the intensity of the 'meeting' inside the pack and also the brand’s contemporary and fearless attitude towards Porto wine."
