B&B studio has come out with this beautiful design for Superfly, a new juice drink from beverage company, Firefly.

“B&B studio brings purity of design to a ‘no logo’ bottle for Superfly, the new addition to Firefly’s revitalising juice drinks range, which is a collaboration with one of the world’s most influential mixologists, Ryan Chetiyawardana, aka Mr Lyan.

The bottle design, designed with the on-trade environment in mind, features bold and beautiful illustrations inspired by botanical books, and does not have a logo on the front – creating intrigue and allure around the new product.”

“The Firefly partnership with Mr Lyan builds on their shared love of botanical ingredients, and brings the craft spirits trend to soft drinks. Superfly offers a more sophisticated adult soft drink with added complexity.

Working to the theme of Modern Botanicals, B&B studio was inspired by original botanical illustrations, but added colour and texture to make them contemporary. The illustration takes over the front of the bottle, pushing the brand name to the back.

The purity of the design heroes the botanicals and is a bold unbranded move for Firefly. The back of the bottle shows an illustrated list of ingredients, a feature consistent with the rest of the Firefly range, but drawn in a style closer to Mr Lyan’s own brand.”

"Shaun Bowen, Creative Partner at B&B studio, says: 'It was really brave for Firefly to go down the route we suggested of having an unbranded front of pack. For us, it’s not a gimmick – the unique shape of the Firefly bottle is a strong enough equity in itself to represent the brand.'  Sarah Brooks, Head of Marketing for Firefly Drinks, adds: 'The bold way that B&B chose to tie up our brand with Mr Lyan’s fired our imaginations. It will serve to create a mystery around the brand and spark conversations. It’s great to have a design which people will be talking about and which expresses the natural qualities of our product so clearly and quickly.'”
