Indulge Your Sweet Tooth With These Neighborhood Treats

Hi! Estudio has created this colorful conceptual line of sweets, Dulces De Barrio (Sweets of the Neighboorhood). The design features fresh gradients to add to the overall appeal of the brand.
“Dulces de barrio is a typical parody of some of Mexico's neighborhoods. Dulces de Barrio represents a popular Mexican culture where phrases like, ‘Vato loco forever’, ‘Aquí rifa pura sur 13’, ‘Sureño vatos locos’, and ‘Más vale cholo que mal acompañado’ are something of a daily lifestyle. Through this conceptual exercise we want the project to show the sweet side of Cholos, as Cholos also eat candy, and are still respected in their barrio. A close up view of the daily life of a barrio wields as a result a mixture of typography and interesting colors for the development of this project.”
