FEED’s Coffee is Good and Also Does Good

FEED has come out with the packaging for a line of coffee that goes with the inaugural location of their shop and cafe in Brooklyn. The design is straightforward yet special in that it reinforces the notion that their coffee helps make a difference and serves their noble cause.
"Founded in 2007, FEED is a socially-conscious brand that donates a portion of every purchase to providing meals for children around the world. Its mission to end childhood hunger has given 100 million meals to date and counting."
"So, when FEED signed the lease for their first shop & cafe in Brooklyn, we wanted to create something special for the debut roast. Working with La Colombe Roasters, we landed on a blend that was 100% organic and ethically sourced, aligning with the brand’s socially-conscious mission."
"Our goal was to create a design that not only reflected their socially-conscious values, but one that was also simple and handcrafted, yet special. To achieve that, we opted for a letterpressed label over digital printing, and incorporated a hand-drawn pattern, referencing the global aspect and reach of the brand. We worked in subtle copper foil detailing, a nod to the copper bar top in the cafe, to elevate the otherwise clean design.
The tagline on the top of the bag, “Good Coffee That Does Good,” sums it up: the goal being that customers feel proud knowing their purchase not only tastes good, but makes a difference as well.
The exclusive roast can be found at the FEED store in Brooklyn, or online (along with other bags & accessories that do good)."
