Javi Garduño and Isra García have designed this super fun packaging for Strike Wine. What makes this wine so unique is its obvious reference to bowling, making for an eye-catching packaging solution that is entertaining as well as clever.
“After his first work, Bigardo, the wine expert Kiko Calvo is presenting his second wine, and he asked us to work on its naming, branding and packaging. In our first meeting, he gave us complete creative freedom and he described the wine as full. In Spanish, the word for it is pleno and it has different meanings. One of them is related to bowling and means strike, that is, victory. So we decided the bottle should be a bowling pin. In order to give it this look, it has a printed sleeve and it’s sealed with synthetic white wax seal. The outcome is a visual metaphor that will stand out of every shelf. Let’s play!”
