Moonchild Brewing Co. is where the love of good craft beer, music, and art intersect. Kingdom & Sparrow worked with Sophie and Fred of the brewery to turn a beautiful illustration from record cover and poster artist Richey Beckett into an iconic brand and label for an ultra small batch beer.
“We worked with them to create an earthy, yet sophisticated, small-batch brand that was uniquely them and drew on their love of music. They wanted a simple and cost efficient way to release experimental, single-batch beers without losing the high-end, hand-crafted feel of their core range, so we developed a label solution that could be stamped by hand. Now Belgian brewer Fred can do what he does best—make exceptional beer!”
The illustration is simply gorgeous, showing the profile of a young woman with her hair up and adorned with hops, wheat, and barley. On the bottle, the image of the moon is completed in gold foil, adding a magical aspect to the label. Text is kept plain and simple, allowing the lovely illustration to be the main attraction. Every bottle is sealed with a sticker that details its expiration date and ABV, along with a shining star on top.
