Hubbards Toppers are the perfect snack no matter your mood. With a variety of different options, from paleo to yogurt covered, getting a healthy and delicious snack has never been easier. Coats Design developed the packaging to suit the Hubbards brand and also attract a wide audience with varying needs.
“Personalising the breakfast and snacking experience is a new and growing trend for a group of consumers called ‘tinkerers.’ Whether for health reasons, lifestyle, taste or texture experience, consumers are wanting to customise to suit their individual tastes and needs. Hubbards have developed a family of 4 mixes to cater for this growing trend, each created with a specific consumer in mind.”
Each product is vastly different, so the packaging had to reflect the unique qualities inside. Seeds & Ancient Grains uses an earthy color palette and images from nature to show the wholesome ingredients, while Clusters & Yogurt Sultanas feature a bright cranberry colored billboard that implies a bold flavor. All of the boxes have a small, clear circle on the front, allowing us to see the product inside, helping buyers to figure out which one they like the best.
“The packs have been designed to reflect the promise of each mix in a compelling manner, as well as fit within the Hubbards brand language – quirky, engaging, honest and down-to-earth. Bold typography and illustrations are heroes on pack, adding a sense of enjoyment and promise relating to the contents – whether it’s being indulgent, healthy or energising. Colours are natural, earthy and textural with pack descriptors and callouts prompting versatility and usage. This is a tight knit range of convenient, take anywhere packs that aim to inspire and delight.”
