The Pacific Northwest definitely takes their coffee seriously, so it’s only natural the landscape and atmosphere of the area would be inspiration for a coffee shop. KL Grafik designed the branding and packaging for The Pacific, a mid-size coffee roaster and cafe.
“The colors are acquired from the Pacific Northwest landscape in the fall months. The design aspires to create a feeling of freshness, closeness with nature, and comfort. This brand works perfectly with organic products, promoting sustainability and fair trade practices. The minimalist style compliments the complexity of the Northwestern forested ecosystem.”
The Pacific is incredibly in touch with nature, and as part of their mission they only provide the freshest organic coffee beans sourced from Africa and South America. The image of a tree’s rings speaks to a brand history, building consumer trust and also emphasizing traditional methods of brewing. Additionally, the tree rings almost look like fingerprints, a reminder of the unique products they offer and the amount of individual care they put into their work. Against milky white backgrounds, the earthy colors are soothing and relaxing.
