A delicious olive oil truly is one of the finer things in life–simple yet flavorful. Designed by nju:comunicazion, the packaging for Tenute Librandi olive oil embraces a beautiful simplicity inspired by the architecture from where the olives are sourced.
“Long time ago in a far away land, between Byzantine mosaics and olive trees there was a Arbresh family that produced one of the best olive oils of the world. That land is Calabria, and they are Librandi. To design this line of labels we started from the Byzantine mosaics, in a process of stylization and using black and gold hot foil. This is the final result.”
The graphics on the label are crisp, with smooth curves and perfectly straight lines. Gold hot foil pops, making the olive oil stand out against others on the shelf. By sticking to mostly black and white, the appearance feels classic and high-end, avoiding business and instead exuding the confidence of a premium quality product.
