Indeed. D8, John Galvin Design, and Glasstorm worked together to design the final release of the legendary Black Bowmore, what is often credited as the 1990s start to today’s premium whiskey passion. The Black Bowmore 50 Year Old, the last cask, received an extensive brand repositioning from D8 which you can expect to see in 2017.

The design embodies the flavor of this Scotch Whisky—dark, moody, rich, and oaky. The wood-like details of the packaging are subtle, yet the dark brown and black hues feel strong and confident. A traditional font reminds consumers of the brand’s history, and the batch number on the neck of the bottle highlights how exclusive these bottles truly are.
