Yaposhka Delivery Services

Who knew takeout could be this colorful? Glad Head designed the packaging and identity system for Yaposhka, a Japanese restaurant and delivery service in the Ukraine.
The bright color palette and fun geometric patterns catch your eye right away, and take you away from the traditional colors and style one would regularly associate with Japanese cuisine. Instead, eating becomes a playful experience and your stomach is all the more happy for it.
“Elaborating on the identity for one of Kharkiv's biggest delivery services specializing in Japanese kitchen and studying the market, we came to the conclusion that the industry of Asian-style restaurants needed a touch of innovation and freshness. Therefore, we decided to abandon the traditional red and black palette, often used in the food and kitchen industries, and instead settled on using unexpected and out-of-the-box colours and their shocking combinations."
"To add more flexibility and recognition to the style, we created a set of graphic elements. Their forms are straightforwardly inspired by Japanese products: a slice of pizza, a sushi roll, rice, or cheese. Such variety of variables gave the opportunity to significantly widen the visual imagery of the identity style, having preserved its recognition and unique character.”
