Concept: Ruseløkka Microbrewery

Home brew for the holidays. This concept for Ruseløkka Microbrewery, designed by Nicklas Hellborg, is a slick look for a beer that’s been handcrafted by two brew enthusiasts.

“Ruseløkka Microbrewery is a tiny, small scale brewery located in an apartment in Oslo. Established by two guys, Johannessen and Jentsch, who have great taste for great beer. One year, with their love for beer in mind, they wanted to create two unique batches of their own home brew to hand out to friends and family as Christmas presents. They brewed two different varieties of craft beer and this is the result of the branding for ‘J,’ their first series of beer.”

Ruseløkka Microbrewery has a Scandinavian vibe—a clean, crisp white background and stark black text. The look is purposeful, and while the label feels minimal it still provides the essential information in an easy-to-comprehend way. Gorgeous images on the front stand out, bringing attention to the natural beauty of the country where the beer is brewed.
