What a stunning bottle of vino. ZARATE · INSA | brand & packaging design designed Zuccardi Concreto Malbec, giving this rich, flavorful wine a confident look.
“Packaging design for icon product of Zuccardi Winery, in Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina. Lettering and typographic composition has been created on concrete texture as a stamp. The winery itself and its amphoras inspired this unique texture. It directly communicates the essence of the product, its origin, its nature and the winemaking process. The printing techniques used were embossing to highlight the print texture, and debossing and transparent hot foil stamping to emphasize the typographic composition. Single, innovative and concrete design.”
Since the label is designed to look like concrete, it instantly makes Zuccardi Concreto Malbec look like it has more weight—almost like if you picked it up, it would be like holding a valuable trophy or award rather than a bottle of wine. The diamond shape on the front keeps information easy to locate and keeps the attention on the concrete-style label. A combination of fonts gives it a classy, artisanal vibe, emphasizing the care that goes into the winemaking process.
