This will be Fido’s new favorite food. Bulldog Drummond designed the packaging for Wholehearted, a new private label brand from Petco for those who want to give their pup natural nutrition.

“With the Targets, Whole Foods, Safeways and Walmarts of the world becoming masters in home-grown private label brands, pet specialty was lagging behind for Petco. They identified the opportunity to develop their own new-to-world, better for pets, natural line of products and they asked Bulldog Drummond to help them build it.”

Wholehearted certainly has a lot of heart. Images of happy dogs with their favorite people instantly evoke positive feelings, and the handwritten font for the brand name emphasizes the wholesome ingredients. Bright colors make the bags and cans of food pop and also communicate the different varieties available. Images of the actual ingredients also appear on the front, appealing to pet owners who prioritize their pup’s health.
