Before & After: Stropkov Vodka

Stropkov Vodka received a much-needed makeover from New York agency Imagemme. The updated look is sleek and attractive, generating an instant allure that draws consumers in.

“A staple in kosher spirits, Stropkov Vodka is a product of Allied Wine Corp., a family owned and operated winery and distillery with more than 50 years of combined experience. Stropkov engaged Imagemme to update its branding and overhaul its packaging. In addition to capturing more kosher market share, the goal of this project was to position Stropkov as a premium vodka, capable of attracting non-kosher consumers.”

“Careful to maintain brand equity, Imagemme preserved certain Stropkov packaging elements, such as the anchor motif, while updating the hand-drawn cursive wordmark to make it more contemporary and legible. Flavors were denoted through bold blocks of color. This made future flavor additions easy, while also flooding store shelves with an eye-catching assortment of color.”

The logo remains similar, although it has slightly less weight which gives it a more modern and lively appearance. The new look is far less cluttered—fewer colors, images, and text—which simplifies the approach. Splashes of bright color appear in flavored vodkas, but the consistency makes the brand familiar and stand out to consumers.
