There are a lot of things that feel quintessentially New York City—grabbing a dirty water dog from a street vendor or watching talented performers play music on the subway platforms. But nothing is better than grabbing a quick breakfast at a corner deli, which you’ll find on practically every block. Taking this delicatessen inspiration, Treceveinte designed the branding and packaging for 2 Be Deli in an attempt to bring a bit of NYC to Mexico.

“It is a new coffee restaurant located south of the city of Leon, Guanajuato, characterized by taking inspiration from the New Yorker Delicatessen concept, which is based on providing healthy food with all natural products at great prices; either in the morning with a good breakfast or afternoon with a very healthy food. Our design proposal is based on the retro graphics of the city of New York where we use fonts that evoke the signage of the streets of the city.”

Using approachable and fun graphics and fonts, 2 Be Deli looks like a welcoming and thoroughly enjoyable spot to get some breakfast or lunch. It evokes a strange sense of nostalgia and helps to set the mood as a New York City deli as well as an overall healthy eating option. The navy and burnt orange are modern and also help make the extensive offerings on the menu more manageable visually.
