The Maffra Cheese Company, located in the heart of Gippsland’s dairy country, has a reputation for producing some of Australia’s finest Cheddar. The brief to Brand Society was to develop a clear brand strategy for the local supplier, to successfully launch their range of speciality cheeses into the retail market.
A key point of difference for the brand was to draw on their Chemist and Founder, Ferial Zekiman’s precision-like approach to crafting high quality, single-herd produce. We wanted to capture the Founder’s handcrafted and innovative process, but also pay homage to the brand’s classic European roots and cheesemaking heritage.
The new brand identity and packaging range has brought great success to Maffra Cheese Co. seeing the company grow its retail offer to all major Australian supermarkets.
