 “A world where everything is crafted to achieve absolute culinary perfection, a place where taste is the only sense you need.” This is the dream world that Chapter has created for their client, Hänsel, a specialized sweets catering service in Mexico. With creamy pastel hues and striking metallic elements, this is not your ordinary dessert brand.

“Hänsel is a twist on the typical pastel-colored sweets shop. It softens animal fur-inspired patterns, that would otherwise be associated with aggressive imagery, by placing them over a light and clear color scheme. This, along with psychedelic metallic accents, creates a detail-filled yet unified identity for the brand.”

The light colors and unique illustrations give the feel of an artisan sweets shop while still remaining fun and accessible to people of all ages. The macaron boxes and cones for items like popcorn have a traditional feel, but the packaging is infused with metallic details and small, trendy patterns that modernize it. The text used is small and minimal, just waiting for the curiosity of the consumer to give in and look to see what’s inside.
