Artists often face an enormous challenge once they’ve created something spectacular: they are at a loss as to which outlets they should utilize to promote and share it. For artists of all types in Merida, Mexico, this obstacle is a much easier one to tackle using Plataforma 01.

Because the definition of art is broad and artists can work with all different types of materials, Bienal Comunicación wanted Plataforma 01 to highlight the creators and craftspeople. The graphics and design are minimal and straightforward, with a slight art school influence, to feature an artist’s work in any specialty. In this way, Plataforma 01 is a blank canvas itself for artists to use to promote their work and to connect with others.
