OLD SPORT GIN

"Want to go with me, old sport? Just near the shore along the Sound." This quote from one of the best novels of all time, “The Great Gatsby”, is one of the phrases that inspired the naming and branding of a gin produced by one of Greece’s older distilleries, “Old Sport”. This term of endearment is used to define a refined gentlemen and Bob Studio, the agency behind this design, used this 20’s expression to capture the identity of the brand.

The packaging portrays this character, a sophisticated and experienced man with a beard - a man who is well travelled and who will support his friends. This imagery is then layered with representations of botanical elements, patterns and photographs inspired by the distillery’s heritage. These details are printed on the portrait using gold foil.
