Drawing on her connection with Hawaii for art direction, Lili'uolani Pickford designed a spray paint line featuring the everyday imagery seen on the islands. The designs are clean and minimal, featuring the paint color and a single large image with accompanying names such as “Chicken Leg Red.” You can see the playfulness infused into this work, I’m sure she had a good time designing it. “The imagery of everyday Hawai'ian life speaks to locals while the clean design aesthetic appeals to those willing to spend more for quality paint.”
