A lovely colour palette, evocative illustrations and a beautiful typography are the key ingredients of the re-branding of Little’s, a family run flavoured coffee company, by This Way Up Design. Set up by husband and wife team Henry and Leila Little, the revamp comes as the brand takes a new direction under the helm of the second generation, William Little.

A fusion of Henry and Leila’s respective American and Finnish heritages, Little’s brings together the coffee-loving culture of Finland with the Californian love of flavoured coffee. The new packaging design is inspired by this story, and communicates the mix of ingredients which make the brand unique. Will Little, the new Managing Director of Little’s, says of the new design, ‘We wanted to bring our unique history to the forefront of the brand. The crossed arms imagery draws on the idea of the husband and wife team, with one side focusing on the Finnish coffee culture and tradition, and the other the American influence in favour. With 74% of all UK adults drinking instant coffee we wanted our packaging to create a strong shelf presence and give consumers an exciting choice within the sector.’
