Neverland Tea

Oh what positively pretty tea packaging! The Canadian team at Saint Bernadine Mission Communications Inc. partnered with local Neverland Tea Salon to design new packaging for their proprietary branded line of tea – and what a delight it is to my little eyes!“With well over 75 (tea) flavors, in over 10 sub groups, the solution required a design system that was flexible, scaleable, and easily navigable.”
Saint Bernadine Mission Communications came up with a design concept that was cost effective & flexible without losing the “sparkle” that comes along with speciality print techniques being squeezed into the budget.
The solution resulted in one universal bag style being used for all the tea flavors. The white, opaque bags with zipseal tops were a cost effective blank canvas which Saint Bernadine Mission Communications transformed by over printing with a beautiful silver foil. The ornate silver foiling, with it’s organic, leafy shapes and delicate curves immediately elevates the bags to a luxury status.
Next on the design agenda, a color coded sticker system was put into place to organize and differentiate the many tea flavors. Each package has a sticker on both front and back which distinguishes the tea name, includes it’s unique list of ingredients and provides instructions for steeping. The stickers are decorative, with soft scalloped edges and a sweet, color palette of pastels and dessert flavors.Neverland Tea Salon’s new tea packaging is lovely, really great work done by Saint Bernadine Mission Communications. If some were gifted to me, I promise I’d save the empty packaging in my “inspiration” drawer.
