Meet Ted Vadakan, Co-Founder and CEO of Poketo, a lifestyle brand and purveyor of design-driven wares. Vadakan has forged partnerships and collaborations with notable companies including Nike, Target, Disney, Nordstrom, Cartoon Network, and Sanrio. Poketo is a hub for the creative community, regularly hosting cultural events ranging from art exhibitions and music performances to exclusive lifestyle collaborations headed by Vadakan. Through collaboration and activation, the brand continually strives to move beyond the traditional retail experience. Vadakan has spoken as a keynote at the Nearly Impossible Conference as well as Creative Mornings alongside his wife and Poketo co-founder Angie Myung.

Meet Angie Ayung, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Poketo, a lifestyle brand and purveyor of design-driven wares. Established in 2003, Myung defines the overall Poketo aesthetic by curating Poketo’s Los Angeles retail locations and online store. She has forged relationships with artists and designers locally and internationally and can take credit for Poketo’s exclusive collections and thoughtful, difficult-to-find goods. The Poketo store and Poketo.com have garnered accolades from notable press including The New York Times, Refinery29, Style.com, Entrepreneur, Dwell, Sunset, and Wallpaper City Guides among others. Myung has served as a guest speaker at The Wharton School of Business, Dwell on Design, and Creative Mornings alongside her husband and Poketo co-founder Ted Vadakan.
