Severed Thumb Drives

Published

For those with weak stomachs, I recommend you look away. For the rest of us, Halloween is back in action in February with Severed Thumb Drives, a great storage device that can also be used to prank your co-workers. USB drives are inserted in Latex-based thumbs that are painted realistically and then placed inside a button and string envelope alongside a photoshopped image of a man giving the thumbs-up.

“Justin Poulsen is a conceptual photographer who specializes in building physical props – rather than relying solely on digital wizardry – to make ideas come to life.

To demonstrate this, Justin created severed USB thumb drives, molded from his own thumb and loaded with his portfolio, allowing potential clients to experience both the tactile and visual quality of his craft.”
