Rapha Eyewear

A joint project between the design team at Rapha and Progress Packaging, a creative packaging specialist. Having worked with the client on several projects beforehand, the team at Progress packaging “jumped at the chance to create something exciting and different with them for their classic glasses range. “The result is a set of custom-made tins that take inspiration from eye-wear packaging from the early part of the 20th century. 

The team at Progress Packaging comments, “We created a custom-made tin with a recessed inward fitting lid. Using black gloss lacquer, printed inside and out with a screen printed base and raised embossed logo to the lid, this tin was finished off with an uncoated white card sleeve, which was then foil-blocked gloss black and litho printed one colour.” An ownable packaging which reflects the characteristics of the product inside and delivers a memorable unboxing experience.
