Pol Nostrum Ale is a premium Valencian beer which recently won a prize for the “most valued” Spanish beer of 2014 and one of the best in the world. Such an exceptional beer needed a bold and clever corporate identity and Pixelarte definitely succeeded in this task. The main idea behind the branding is the Mare Nostrum, the latin name for the Mediterranean Sea closely to which the city of Valencia is located. “We developed the whole project with lots of enthusiasm and affection given that we were able to work with some of the elements that we love most: beer, sun and sea. We have used custom handmade letterings to enhance the artisanal factor that characterises craft beer and visually supported the work with illustrations.”The concept is well translated on the label, which features premium bronze foil on a textured paper and screen printing. As the team atPixelarte says “This selection reinforces the premium value of the beer and gives the bottle a unique appearance, perfectly contrasting with the product's ochre hues.
