The eve mattress is a new premium quality product that can be delivered straight to your door. Unlike traditional mattresses an Eve is made from a combination of memory foam and latex, meaning that it can be vacuum packed into a relatively small box – making delivery less expensive and more convenient. Once opened, the mattress ‘bursts out’ of the box – like someone jumping out of bed.
Unlike most sleepy mattress brands, Eve is about vitality and freshness. This had very clear implications for design – which can be seen throughout the product and its packaging.
The box features the brand’s signature sunny, vibrant yellow and plays on the palindromic nature of the logo. They wanted it to look fantastic on doorsteps and on the trailers of bicycle couriers making deliveries around London, especially when set against grey winter skies. Finally, they included some upbeat language and lively typography on the internal flap, and added some famous quotes on the theme of waking up to further convey the brand message.
