Gawatt Coffee Shop

Take-out Armenian coffee shop, Gawatt teamed up with Backbone Branding to design a line of food and beverage packaging that communicates the shop's alternative aesthetic and energy.
"Gawatt, which in Armenian means cup, is not just a cup for us. Gawatt fills in the existing gap of take-out coffee shops in Yerevan delivering fun and excitement to its target audience."
The packaging features a rustic color palette that incorporates vintage steampunk graphics with iconography that represents the shop's offerings, like percolators, steamers and coffee beans.
Gawatt successfully distinguishes itself as a serious coffee contender, while conjuring images of the British Victorian era.
