STILE12 is known for their high quality Italian made socks. They recently developed a paper box package. The concept behind the design was based on creating patterns. The patterns on the socks are one of the main things STILE12 had to design before the production process. They decided they would focus on expanding the pattern element on the socks to their gift box packaging by showcasing a window die-cut on the front.
“Like all the STILE12 brand concept, the graphic is reduced to the minimal: in the box you can find only two colors (light grey & black) and only two geometric shapes (circle and square). In this way you give more importance to the product (you can see the socks’ pattern in the central cut).
The dimensions of the box and of the graphic are modular, so you can put one box near another to create infinite kinds of regular or random patterns.”
