Thom Yorke, Radiohead frontman, never ceases to innovate. His first solo album, The Eraser was made available to download or purchase exclusively on vinyl. For his latest album he enlisted the London-based packaging consultancy, Project Packaging. They worked together to create bespoke packaging for his upcoming release, “Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes”.

The custom bags are printed with a metallic silver laminate, then printed again using a multi-tone black and contrasted with neon green. The static bag contains 180g 12” white vinyl in printed sleeves, complete with a download card.

"It is all enclosed in a bespoke anti-static shield bag, a metallised material used specifically by the electronics industry for protecting components against electrostatic interference.”If the music turns out to be half as good as the packaging design, we’re all in for a treat.
